Scoil Rince Mikulski is one of the newest Irish dance schools to hit the Nottingham area in years. Founded in 2005 by Irish dance instructor Kimberly Haneline under the World Irish Dance Association (WIDA), it has quickly grown to be a shining star in quality Irish dance tuition. Students are offered opportunities compete locally and internationally, perform at public and private events, and learn lifelong lessons beyond traditional Irish dance.
Scoil Rince Mikulski dancers consist of broad standards (ranging from novice to advanced) at all ages (3 to 60 years old). The material covered includes traditional Irish dance and the school's own choreography. The aim of the school is to encourage its dancers to work as a close-knit team whilst having fun. Instructors approach the students holistically, paying as much attention to a dancer's enjoyment as their standard of dancing.
