Margaret Murray School Of Irish Dancing
From IrishDanceWiki
From their web site:
- The Margaret Murray School Of Irish Dancing was founded by Margaret Murray in 2002. Margaret, in her own right a championship winning dancer and a very well respected teacher, graduated TCRG in 2003. The School is proud to be a member of Comhdhail Muinteoiri Na Rinci Gaelacha (The congress of Irish Dance Teachers) with Feiseanna being held all over Mainland Britain, Northern and Southern Ireland and indeed the World.
- Dancers start off by learning basic reels and jigs using soft shoes or "PUMPS", then progress to more complex dance steps using both soft and hard shoes or "HEAVY'S". The School participates in the Feiseanna run by the An Comhdhail throughout the year, at the Feis dancers will enjoy meeting and dancing with children from both the U.K and abroad.
- The Margaret Murray School of Irish Dancing caters for children from the ages of 4 to 18 and is committed to the preservation of the art of Irish Dancing and to the promotion of health and fitness of the children dancing within our school.
