History
The idea for this Irish dance group was first born on St. Patrick's Day 1986 during an Irish Coffee Party at the Vienna International Center.
At this time the dance group was formed and already in May 1986 the first classes were held. In November 1986 the group with 14 members was big enough for the first public performance in the Austro-American center. On St. Patrick's Day 1987 the first Céilí was organized in the Gasthaus Prilisauer in Vienna's fourteenth district. From the end of 1987 on classes were held every Thursday and céilís were regularly organized at the Austro-American Society and in the Gasthaus Prilisauer. During the last years the St. Patrick's Day Céilís were held with great success at the Baumgartner Casino and in the Schutzhaus Zukunft. At present we offer an extensive repertory of céilí and set dances, which are popular in Ireland.
Training is every Thursday from 7.30 p.m. till 9.45 p.m. You may join us anytime.
